Publish a version, pick a channel and set prices

After approval the owner publishes; whether customers can get it also depends on an active price plan. A free plugin needs an active plan with amount zero too.

Publish and hide

After approval the owner clicks “Publish” on the version; one uploaded with automatic publishing advances on its own. A published version can be “hidden”: that only affects discovery and new downloads, and cannot remove what customers already installed.

Before publishing check the Chinese listing, support URL, compatibility, permission text, configuration example and release notes. Seeing it on the seller site does not mean customers can.

Channels: stable and beta

Pick the channel at upload: stable (default) or beta; it is recorded on the version to label its release status. It is fixed at upload; a version number cannot be re-uploaded on another channel, so bump the version instead. For a first release use stable with automatic publishing off.

Price plans

TypeRule
FreeAmount zero
One-offAmount above zero
SubscriptionAmount above zero, monthly or yearly; trial of 0, 7, 10, 14 or 30 days
  • Use “Add price plan” on the plugin’s “Pricing” tab; only the owner can. New plans go through operator review and apply to new orders only.
  • Without an active plan customers may see the listing but cannot get it; do not skip this even for a free release.
  • Charging needs settlement details. Ship free first and verify installation, then add prices; never test connectivity with a real payment.
  • Price changes affect new orders only; existing orders, licences and refunds follow their rules. Do not hide versions or change files to alter customer orders.

How income is settled is on the income and settlement page.
