Node subscriber

Choose nodes, top up and buy from a supplier, have an administrator connect sites, daily checks, usage statements and stopping.

For control-plane administrators buying external nodes for their own control plane. Regular site users who need more capacity or another line should ask their administrator.

Open the node market by adding /dashboard/sys/node-market to your control-plane address, for example https://console.cdnca.com/dashboard/sys/node-market (it is not in the sidebar yet).

Know what you are buying

  1. Open "Node market → Browse & buy", filter by region, line, billing and settlement and click "Filter"; "Reset" clears it.
  2. Open "Details" on a candidate and check serving nodes, limits, actions at the limit, ICP requirement, node plugins, and the seller's claims versus platform measurements.
  3. Check deposit, credit and supplier status. A quality score of "insufficient data" does not mean quality is proven; seller claims are not platform measurements.
  4. Check price, billing unit, days or period, deposit, limits and commitments, and who handles SLA compensation. A breach record is not money received.
  5. Decide which site will use it and who will connect it.

Region, line and quality filters run on the market side; until the market is upgraded this page filters only by billing and price, and the list may not show every offer. Do not treat it as a complete comparison.

Balances do not mix: each row under "Supplier balances" belongs to one supplier and pays only that supplier's direct subscriptions; the platform prepaid balance is for platform charges; balances you give your own site users are not market balances.

Top up and buy

Direct offers are paid straight to the supplier: top up your balance with that supplier under "Supplier balances" first, then buy. "Buy" on a daily bundle takes the amount from your balance with that supplier at once; for usage-based offers your balance must cover the deposit, then usage is billed.

Before paying:

  • If price, deposit, billing period or usage rates are not fully shown, or the supplier's description differs from the page, do not pay; ask the platform how to buy and what it costs.
  • Only buy offers whose settlement is "Direct". For any other settlement, do not pay; ask the platform to check the offer.
  • Top-ups are entered in yuan within the range shown in the dialog; do not copy prices marked in fen as yuan.
  • If the supplier is offline, has no online payment or a deposit shortfall, the top-up button is disabled; follow the message and contact the supplier or platform. Topping up another supplier or the platform does not help.

If a result is unclear, do not pay again:

  1. If the top-up dialog does not show "Received" yet, keep the top-up and payment records and check your balance with that supplier; do not create another top-up.
  2. If unsure whether a purchase worked, look for the subscription under "Supplies & sites" and check your balance.
  3. If it still does not add up, send the order number, amount, time and message to the payee and the platform; do not buy or pay again.

Use the subscription for a site

After buying, the resource must be bound to a site and its configuration delivered, then checked with real requests. This currently needs the site's internal ID and configuration, so hand it to an administrator who manages sites:

  1. Tell them the target site, the subscription name and whether it is primary or standby.
  2. They bind and configure it and report the target site and apply result. "Not fully applied" means fix the failed items first; the site is not fully connected.
  3. The site owner checks DNS and certificates and opens the site to confirm content, HTTPS and business requests work.

"Purchased", "pre-check passed" and "applied" are different stages and none replaces a real request. To switch supplies, prepare and verify the replacement first. "Unbind" only changes which supply a site uses; it is not cancelling or a refund.

Daily checks

Under "Supplies & sites" click "Subscription details":

  • "Usage & status": each supply's state, limit usage, the last 24 hours and active actions. First see whether a problem affects one node, one site or the whole subscription.
  • Mind the "as of" time. Usage lags; do not judge from one old data point right after a change.
  • "Prepaid & overdraft": balance and consumption; for direct subscriptions the balance with that supplier counts.
  • "Subscription details" tab: "Paid until", whether "Stop at expiry" is set, and the current renewal price condition.

"Paid until" does not replace checking service state and real requests. Usage-based subscriptions bill on the original terms; do not estimate your costs from new list prices.

Check usage statements

Usage-based subscriptions produce a statement each period.

  1. Open "Node market → Usage statements" and check period, usage, amount and confirmation deadline.
  2. Click "Confirm" only when it is correct. If not, click "Dispute" before the deadline and describe the difference; follow it under "Disputes".
  3. Do not confirm what you have not checked.

Renewal and stopping

Renewal conditions, cancelling and no-fault cancellation directly affect end dates and money, and their rules are still being completed. To change renewal conditions, stop using a subscription or cancel because all supply is offline:

  1. Prepare a replacement and confirm the site works on it.
  2. Ask the platform to confirm the subscription's end time, how money is handled and how to proceed, then follow that.
  3. Check the subscription state, "Paid until" and related entries afterwards.

A normal cancellation is not a refund request; a no-fault cancellation credits your balance with that supplier, not the original payment method. Do not delete sites or buy again to try to recover.
